Liam Gallagher and John Squire have discussed the possibility of playing at Glastonbury 2024.
The former Oasis frontman and the legendary Stone Roses guitarist announced their tour dates on Friday, 26th January. Their schedule includes back-to-back performances at Manchester O2 Apollo, plus two nights in London at O2 Forum Kentish Town and The Troxy.

Liam Gallagher is set to celebrate 30 years of “Definitely Maybe” with a massive tour, keeping him busy throughout summer. However, a Glastonbury-sized gap in his schedule caught attention. During an interview with Radio X’s Johnny Vaughan, the duo was asked about the possibility of playing the Somerset festival to promote their joint album.
When asked about festival appearances, John Squire responded, “I don’t think we are, are we?”
Liam Gallagher added, “Depends, man. If itโs right, we will, you know what I mean?”
Squire admitted, “I’m up for it, but we’ve not heard anything.”
Regarding Glastonbury, Liam Gallagher said, “I dunno. I’ve not heard anything, but I’m up for it. We can’t wait to play this record for everyone.”
Liam Gallagher’s 2024 Tour Schedule
Liam Gallagher will play at Dublin 3Arena on Monday, 24th June, followed by two homecoming shows at Manchester Co-op Live on Thursday, 27th June, and Friday, 28th June.
Since Glastonbury Festival runs from 26th to 30th June, the duo could potentially perform on Saturday or Sunday night.
Will Liam Gallagher Sing Stone Roses Songs Live?
Liam Gallagher confirmed he won’t be singing The Stone Roses songs on tour. He explained, “Nah, not doing any of that. Itโs just this album and maybe a few covers, but not our other bands.”
He added, “Them songs mean too much to me, man. I wouldnโt mind singing Oasis ones.”
When asked if it would feel like “big-league karaoke”, Liam Gallagher replied, “No, but they just mean too much to me.”
