Liam Gallagher talks about rumours of Noel joining him at Knebworth.
Liam Gallagher has put an end to talk of a possible Oasis reunion at Knebworth.
In an interview with Mojo, Liam made his stance clear. Noel Gallagher will not join him on stage.
“No, Noel won’t join us. It’s mad people even think that,” said Liam.
He dismissed the rumours as fantasy:
“Wishful thinking. It’s not Spinal Tap, mate.”
Liam Mocks Noel’s Current Tour
Liam Gallagher didn’t stop at denying a reunion. He took aim at his brother’s solo career.
“He’ll be hiding away, trying to convince himself that playing to 2,000 in Scunthorpe is better than 80,000 in Knebworth.”
Oasis Was More Than Just Songs
Liam reflected on what made Oasis special. He said it wasn’t only about songwriting.
“It’s not all about the people who write the songs.”
Liam claimed that performance and presence made the real difference.
“Maybe I’m the soul. I’m the one who put it in the back of the net.”
Using a football metaphor, he said:
“Scoring a goal is the hardest part of the game, isn’t it?”
He clearly sees himself as the driving force behind Oasis‘ energy and legacy.

Knebworth Without Noel Gallagher
Even without Noel Gallagher, the Knebworth shows are a major success for Liam.
Fans still dream of a reunion. But Liam Gallagher is looking ahead, not backward.
His Knebworth gigs are sold out. They mark a high point in his post-Oasis career.
