Liam Gallagher has teased that he could announce tour dates for ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary very soon.
Liam Gallagher may soon announce new live tour dates, delighting fans around the world.
The former Oasis frontman took to X (formerly Twitter) on World Mental Health Day to check in with fans.
He asked them an important question: “How are you? Out of 10?”
One fan replied they’d feel like a “10” if they had tour dates.
Liam Gallagher responded, saying they were “in the post”, teasing an announcement soon.
World Mental Health Day and Talk Club
World Mental Health Day, observed on October 10, inspired Gallagher’s message.
His post supported Talk Club, an organisation that encourages men to ask: “How are you? Out of 10?”
Talk Club describes itself as:
“A talking and listening club for men, offering talking groups, sports groups and therapy to stay mentally fit.”
They add:
“It’s a simple medicine that starts with asking: How are you? Out of 10? By checking in regularly, Talk Club builds community.”
Celebrating Definitely Maybe’s 30th Anniversary
Liam Gallagher recently confirmed plans to celebrate Definitely Maybe’s 30th anniversary with live shows.
The classic album was first released on August 24, 1994.
Back in May, Gallagher announced on X:
“As it’s 30 years since DM was released nxt year, I’m gonna be playing the album from start to finish in its original order at a few BIBLICAL venues.”
When asked if the tour would visit Italy, he replied: “Planning on celebrating that album all over the world.”
More Music on the Horizon
In addition to the anniversary tour, Gallagher has promised “lots and lots” of new music in 2024.
The Everything’s Electric singer also mentioned taking time off to recover from hip surgery this year.
