Noel Gallagher has revealed he would “properly consider” an Oasis reunion — for the right price.
Appearing on Radio X, Noel discussed his new album “Council Skies” with presenter Johnny Vaughan.
During the chat, Vaughan reminded him of a previous offer: £8 million in cash for an Oasis reunion.
“You said, ‘If you turn up to my house with eight million quid cash in an Adidas bag, I’d put them back together’,” Vaughan recalled.
Noel responded: “I would consider it… I would properly consider it, yeah.”
Asked if questions about a reunion still bother him, Noel said: “It used to really annoy me. Now it’s just whatever.”
What does continue to amaze him is Oasis’ lasting appeal.
“I was at the Etihad for the Real Madrid game,” Noel said, “and two young guys, 13 or 14, freaked out when they saw me.”
“Their dad said, ‘They’re massive fans.’ And I thought — they were babies when I went solo!”
Noel reflected on Oasis’ timeless legacy, noting how younger generations still discover their music.
“That makes me feel good. We did something really brilliant and timeless,” he said.
On BBC Radio 2’s Piano Room, Noel also discussed the upcoming 30th anniversary of “Definitely Maybe.”
“It’s a real privilege. We created that sound — we were the real deal,” he said. “The songs are still going strong.”
He added: “Teenagers now don’t really have anything like that anymore. It’s great for me, obviously — but no one came along to take our place.”
Oasis famously split in 2009 after a backstage fight between Noel and Liam Gallagher at Rock en Seine in Paris.
In 2020, Liam claimed Noel had turned down £100 million to reunite the band for a tour.
Despite their long-standing feud, reunion rumors continue to swirl.
With Noel now “properly considering” a comeback for £8 million, the dream of seeing Oasis back on stage may not be dead yet.
