Bonehead will likely join Liam Gallagher at next year’s TRNSMT Festival 2024 in Glasgow.

The former Oasis guitarist, whose real name is Paul Arthurs, teased his appearance on Twitter. He posted Liam Gallagher‘s TRNSMT festival poster, hinting he will take part.

Liam Gallagher is confirmed to headline the Scottish festival on Friday 12th July 2024 at Glasgow Green.

Bonehead Expected to Perform Oasis Classics

This news fits well. Bonehead often joins Liam to perform Oasis classics at big concerts.

For this TRNSMT show, Liam Gallagher will deliver a ‘Definitely Maybe’-focused setlist. He plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ debut album.

Some solo material will also feature in the set.

Liam Gallagher said: “Can’t wait to return to Glasgow Green next Summer to headline TRNSMT. I’ll be playing songs from Definitely Maybe as well as some solo stuff. See you there.”

Bonehead’s Comeback After Cancer Battle

Bonehead missed Liam Gallagher’s epic Knebworth 2022 gigs due to cancer treatment.

Diagnosed with tonsil cancer in March 2022, he underwent treatment and recovery. Last September, he shared good news.

Speaking to Radio X’s Toby Tarrant, he said: “Yeah I got the all-clear. I finished treatment. It was a tough year, but three months after, I got the all-clear.”

He continued: “I’m under the care of Christie Hospital in Manchester. For the next five years, I’m under their care, which is the best care.”

Bonehead’s Return to the Stage

Following recovery, Bonehead rejoined Liam Gallagher on stage.

He first performed again during Liam’s Knebworth 22 album launch show. This took place at London’s KOKO on 9th August 2023.

Fans will now eagerly await seeing Bonehead and Liam Gallagher together again at TRNSMT Festival 2024.
