Pet Shop Boys and Noel Gallagher collaborates together for a new song’s remix

Pet Shop Boys have said they have collaborated with Noel Gallagher on a remix of a new NGHFB‘ song.

Pet Shop Boys have announced an exciting collaboration with Noel Gallagher.

The iconic duo revealed they have remixed a track from Gallagher’s upcoming album Council Skies, recorded with his band High Flying Birds.

Speaking to students at Cambridge University, vocalist Neil Tennant confirmed the project.

“We have just remixed Noel Gallagher,” Tennant shared. “All collaborations are interesting.”

Pet Shop Boys Aim to “Make You Sound Better”

Tennant explained their philosophy on collaborations.

“The aim is to work with someone who makes you sound 10 times better,” he added.

Tennant and keyboardist Chris Lowe also expressed their openness to future collaborations.

“I wouldn’t say no,” Tennant said. “Who knows? Ed Sheeran might come up with something.”

Although they joked that Sheeran isn’t “cool,” the duo stressed that “cool” isn’t their priority.

“It’s all about euphoric pop music. Never say never,” Tennant concluded.

Council Skies Deluxe Edition Includes Star Remixes

Noel Gallagher’s fourth studio album Council Skies is set for release on June 2.

Alongside the Pet Shop Boys collaboration, the deluxe version includes a remix of Pretty Boy by Robert Smith of The Cure.

Gallagher teased Smith’s remix last month, saying: “It sounds exactly like The Cure.”

In April, they will release a four-track EP titled Lost, featuring unreleased songs from their 2015 Super sessions.
